For those of you who have recently switched to satellite TV -
Did your installation require extensive cabling - or did they do something like some kind of indoor wi-fi?
We once had DirecTV years ago and there's weird ass cabling in and out of the house up and down, through the garage, outside the house and back into it -
and a LONG cable cross the attic into the tiny space above our garage ceiling. Needless to say I don't think anyone will want to re-wire THAT if they need to.
Then again, since we HAVE Atlantic Broadband already, my gut is, they'll find a way to link into THAT. However, if if EVER re-allow a dish on my property, it will never again be on my roof - poor installation, high winds and a couple hurricanes - it's been blown off several times and wreaked a lot of damage to my roof and attic. NEVER again.
