New Services Offered

Starting today, we will be offering a new service at the hardware store - seasonal only - we will cut your squash in half for you - $1 per squash. If you would like it cut in quarters it will be $1.50. Diced? $4. You may have to pick a few pieces of pvc shavings out since we will be using the same saw as we use to cut pipe. Now of course all of the above fees will be waved and I can cut your squash as a favor but only if you return a favor to me.....

And I think we will start cooking stuffed hams next week. $10.99 per pound. If you would like it sliced - $14.99. But beware, if we slice it, it may have a butternut flavor to it.....

Yup that's me, though I'm not there much. My daughter runs the show for me. If you are coming down for Ladies Night in December, let me know and I will see if my wife will do a butternut dish....

We in Calvert have few choices for hardware, unless you want foo-foo crap that the daughter and mom think are clever and chic.
Actually Jim’s and dunkirk have better choices.

Thanks - the menfolk in my life aren't much interested in all things hardware anymore so I skip the Ladies night stuff. I'm usually in there for filters, rakes, potting soil, fruit fly traps, and spackle, lots of spackle. I'm really into making nail holes. Your employees are good at translating what I'm looking for into hardware speak. Most helpful.
