They have a new theme this year. The last time we went it was "Believe" the show didn't go so well due to crappy weather. The new theme is "One Ocean". The show was very nice. A few pics.

I love Sea World! When I lived in Orlando, I would go there at least once a week. After about 2 months of going every week, the park gave me a 1 year pass at no charge and I got to go "behind the scenes" at the Shamu show. I miss it now that I am back in MD. Nice pics!!
Nice! We got the season passes for SeaWorld and Aquatica water park. Both are a blast and worth the price of the passes which really isn't much for FL residents. Plus any guests we take get a really good discount too. We're going back again in a few weeks. They also have a Halloween and Christmas theme too. Can't wait for that.
My son lives in Tampa and my SIL lives in ST. Pete so I am sure I will be down there sometime this summer after I get back from my trip to Germany. I know I will be going to Sea World. There Halloween and Christmas themes are really good and I think you will love them. Have fun!!
Thanks! Hope you get down when the weather is decent. I know once May comes the storms roll in every day and Orlando gets smacked pretty good with them on a daily basis.
I remember those storms. Alot of rain!! I worked at Disney and Universal and usually got a daily drenching. At both jobs, I worked outdoors and there were times I misjudged where the storm was and got a drenching. Great way to cool off though. I knew it was a hot, humid climate when I moved there, but I didn't know how strong the sun was down there. It really beats on ya but I still love Florida and probably will retire there. I just know now not to live IN Orlando or near tourist destinations.
That's why I like where I am, close, but not too close. Nothing here to draw tourists, but we do have a lot of people that come down from about November to April. The dreaded Snow-Birds.
The biggest thing around you is Busch Gardens, right? I went there a couple of times. It was nice except for all of the hills. I don't think I've ever seen a theme park with as many hills as they have.
And we had a choice when we got the season passes, could have picked Sea World and Busch Gardens, but we picked Sea World and Aquatica. My daughter is a roller coaster nut and I wish we had picked the Busch Gardens package now. We're the same distance from Tampa as we are from Orlando.
I don't know why I thought you moved to Tampa/St. Pete area. Maybe I read it in another thread or something, who knows. Maybe you can call them and ask if you can change your pass. They might do it for a small fee. Just tell them something like Aqautica wasn't what you expected and would prefer Busch Gardens. They do just about anything to keep customers coming back so it might work.
I was thinking about calling and just telling them we weren't real thrilled with the water park and if we could change it since it's only a couple days old. Maybe they will, who knows.
