New side effects from the pill

Don't most women go on the pill after they found the man they love and trust but aren't ready to have a baby?

I never went on the pill until I found a steady BF. :whew:
No, a lot of young girls go on the pill for different reasons.

But it makes me wonder is it just the pill that does this, or all birth control?

I am down to 3 days of red on my cycle :yahoo:

I'm just saying that most women go on the the pill for what? Birth control.

Idk, you've got me wondering what the percentages are now. I know of at least a few women that went on it for other reasons and BC was just a bonus :lmao: I also know of others that went on it for just BC

When I was 16 I went to Planned Parenthood because I wanted to go on the pill so I wouldn't become pregnant. That would have been a funny conversation to have with my dad (I was living with him at the time). "Dad, I'd like to regulate my period, can I go on the pill?" Lil background, dad is Italian American Roman Catholic, how well do you think that would have gone over? :lmao:

You'd probably now be a nun. :lmao:

I joke with hubby and tell him that if we have a girl, we'll be slipping BC in her breakfast every morning JUST IN CASE. No teenage pregnancies here! Hey, it's better than assuming our "little angel" would never do such a thing, right? :killingme Yes people...I am kidding. At least I think I am.

Thanks, I do what I can! :lmao:

We have to wait until October 15th to see if we're having a boy or a girl. We both just want a healthy baby, boy or girl is fine of course. But I think that hubby is scared outta his mind about the possibility of having a girl. He asked me how soon is too soon to start her on the pill. :killingme

Just wondering how much more messy the scenario gets when a generic birth control pill is used... some generics do not regulate the release of hormones the same way as brand name birth control pills...

:lmao:

Thanks! Yep, it's the first. Are you going to have another baby? Now...back on topic. :lmao:

I remember my Mom & Aunt sitting my cousin & I down when we were about 14 yrs old. They had "the talk" with us, told us that we could both go to either one of them if we were thinking about going on the pill. They promised not to tell our Dads, too. Of course we were mortified at the time but a couple of years later, they stuck to their word. Hey, it's better than having your teenage daughter come home knocked up.

I was on BC, off & on, for a long time. I'm going to blame the pill for my bad choice in mates all those years before I met hubby 3 years ago. :killingme
