Hello everyone,

Just dropping in to say hi. I'm new to somd.com and somewhat new to the area (went to college down here and never left...so I've actually been down in southern Maryland for 5 years on and off).

Looks like you all try to keep things interesting around here! I look forward to getting to know this site and to getting to better know the area.

Ha, its a play on my last name. There have been others (actually one is probably more appropriate all things considered now) but that is the most recent one...

I will say that St. Mary's County is definitely a change of pace from the county in MD I grew up in...
