High Crime area. If this helps more Police Officer are assigned there than any where else in the county. Plus there is usually 1 K9 on duty in that area.

You aren't far off...it was anywhere from 5 to 6 hours a day. Actually, I switched to a project in DC, so now it's only about 3 hours round trip.

Believe me, I've tried. It seems like you have to know someone to have a shot at a job. I used to work down there, and I do have some contacts. But it's still very tough.
