My soon to be 16 year old wants to go hunting with family members, so are there any safety classes (competency in firearms and hunter safety) going on here in calvert? I checked the dnr and see a few in charles but i was wondering if there are any closer? thanks for any help!

I would visit the Trading Post, or the Tackle Box. They should know about Hunter's safety courses in the area. It is a little late though... this is normally a late summer thing.
