Daily, often twice daily, I take my dogs to run and play ball and the like. Well, one is a ballplayer, the other chases the ballplayer - that being the extent of her athleticism.

So, I am out there, freezing everything off, but doing my doggy duty, cause I love em... And I see the not-so-athletic moose frolicking and playing as though she just found her new niche!

What could it be???!!!! Pouncing away, like a kitty cat, she tosses this object up in the air, stomps on it, throws it over her shoulder, and so on...

I am thinking it's a ice chip - being that they are northern breed dogs...

Maybe someone's discarded mitten....

No.... It's a MOUSECICLE!

YUCK! YUCK!! AND DOUBLE YUCK!!!

Poor little field mouse, frozen to death - just waiting to be my pup's play toy..

Thought I'd share!

Mine do the same thing. But, when there was a live mouse loose in the kitchen, the stupid terriers just looked at me.

Awwww.....that's so cute! Mousecicle=goodtimes
Mine put herself under a dog just inches taller than her to play "I've got your collar" and it looked like she was wearing a doggie coat. The other dog's legs just barely touched the ground, and my doxie mix was under there and carrying her along. :lmao:
