We were just talking about fixing the same (got some homemade sauerkraut from somewhere..and one more pork loin from last year's hog) ) ....problem is the fridge still too full of leftovers from last weekend.Traditional New Year's Day meal. Pork roast and sauerkraut.

Ok, that was an unmitigated disaster. Officially the worst ribs (or meat of any kind) I've ever made. The rub was awful, drowned with salt, and they completely dried out in spite of spritzing them every 30 minutes with apple juice. Inedible. Tossed the entire rack in the garbage.I was going to roast a rack of ribs outside, but the wind keeps blowing the BBQ out. Had to bring them in, doing them in the toaster oven.
