WASHINGTON (AP) -- Students who took part in sexual abstinence programs were just as likely to have sex as those who did not, according to a study ordered by Congress.

At MBP in Waldorf, it is the biggest issue we deal with every week. Many of the kids tell us they would rather "make out" than smoke, drink or do drugs. Even though I am in favor of the abstinence program (which has had fairly good success) it's like telling your kid to "be good" and expecting them to NEVER do anything wrong. It's only a starting point. Parents, schools and relatives need to stay involved in the kids lives for this to work, so now it's got a black eye.

all I can say is that the first time I find out some boy is trying to boink my daughter, he will either be sent home resembling a girl, or, I will tie him down and send my acid tripping mother in law in to have sex with him.
