Where are you at, and how far do you want to drive?

No idea where you're located...but here are some ideas:

St. Mary's: Try Cafe De Artistes in Leonardtown. It's a cozy little French restaurant with great food, and fair prices.

Calvert: Aside from Solomons (all of the places there are overrated, in my opinion, though for some reason the Lighthouse Inn seems to be a favourite), you are probably best off just driving up to D.C.

Charles: I've never had a good meal in Charles county. Ever. Go to D.C.

D.C.: Too many to list....One of my favourites is called "Jaleo". It's a Spanish (not Mexican, mind you...) restaurant that specializes in Tapas. Quite excellent--it's on 7th Street just up from the Shakespeare Theater. Also, just a block over, is Cafe Atlantico. Great Brazilian food. Both places are easily accessible on Metro.

Annapolis: Cafe Normandie is incredible----if you go there, ask to be seated in Evan's section. It's a French restaurant with a wine list to die for. Also, if you're looking for something a little more casual, you might like Maria's Sicilian restaurant. Both are downtown, right past the Naval Academy.

Baltimore: There are a few places on the Inner Harbor----all more expensive than they are worth, but the plus here is the wonderful view, and plenty of nightlife to indulge in pre-or-post-dinner. A bit outside the city (in Bel Air) there is a little hole in the wall called "Fusion Grill"...they've got some really amazing dishes.

Frederick: Bombay Grill---Incredible Indian cuisine! Right on Market street. A little further into the downtown area you can also find Tauraso's Italian restaurant...It's pretty good, though be sure to make reservations.

Good luck!

In St. Mary's - The Willows corner of rt4 & 235 or Cafe des Artistes in Leonardtown
In Calvert - Adam's Ribs or Old Field Inn in Prince Frederick or Neptune's in North Beach
I can also suggest a ton in DC or Annapolis.

Magnum

Should be Huntin
Margelina's in Clinton is good... You can even bet on Horse racing there. There is a place on 210, I think it's called Citrus. Fancy place there, everyone all fancied up and all

Had some good meals at the Tavern at the Village in Wildewood.

:yeahthat:

Cafe De Artiste is like dining in a tomb.

Willows is has good food, as long as you don't mind the drunk in the wheel chair that won't leave you alone while you have your romantic meal. You can't have the guy thrown out, either. He owns the place.

There's a nice little restaurant in the same building that houses CD cafe. I think it's even owned and run by the same people. Nice atmosphere and good food.
