A lot of those charges make no sense or are 100% overlap. I always wonder about that, do they get combined when they finally go to court? Like driving on a suspended license and driving on a revoked license? Can your license be both suspended and revoked at the same time (I think not, so the suspended license is a bad charge)? Aggressive vs. negligent vs. reckless driving is the same, shouldn't it just be the most serious of the three? When someone is speeding, like 110 in a 55 they charge them with the maximum recorded speed, not every recorded speed over the limit (so if they were monitoring him during a chase and got him at 60, 70, 80, etc. they didn't charge for each of those speeds), why do they handle other charges differently and charge every lesser charge that should be included in the greater charge?

Why ask Why just hope he goes to prison for life as he will probably not amount to anything good in his lifetime.

And in prison he'll learn all new criminal skills to implement upon release.

Better to send them to the Soylent Factory and be done with it.

Most of those charges will be plea-bargained away, and the more important charges get the focus. Just because the arresting cop assigned all of those charges doesn't mean he will be tried on every count. That's up to the prosecutor to figure out what's important.
