So, someone here recently was bemoaning the fact that VWs with electric parking brakes require a computer intervention to retract for service, or you have to use a hack to make that happen. So, while configuring the new Jeep for service (disable door auotlocks, beep on lock but not unlock, disable seat belt bonger) I came across the auto setting for the parking brake. Pretty cool, you put the Jeep in park, it sets the brake for you. Then I noticed the second setting for the parking brake "Retract for service" What a nice touch, leaving that in there for me. Thank you Jeep.
