A surprisingly good 'za :yay: I was scared when I went in to order because it's icky in there. But after the dorkstein at the counter took my order, the nicest kid in the world made my pie and presented it to me. It was tasty!

In hindsight, I should have gone to Rick's or Niko's if I wanted pizza, but I thought I'd give Nicoletti's a shot for old times sake.

Had Nicoletti's a long time ago. Never had Rick's Pizza. Like his cheesesteaks, but his price for onion rings is outrageous. Niko's has good pizza. Like Lido's in Lusby for pizza now. :yay:

I like Nicoletti's Calzone, but the crust always tastes flat to me. Needs something, a little salt, olive oil, something..

I liked Nicoletti's crust. It's the closest to what I had in Sicily.

But the dirtiness and service are bad enough that I don't want to go back.

I had a place in Mota I would go every Saturday and get an anchovy pizza and the best calamari in the world.

:twitch:

almost as bad as black olives......

Sometimes I would add them too  The olives over there are different than those you get here.

One day I was goofing around and grabbed a green olive off of tree and tried to eat it thinking it would be pretty close to what we know as an olive. Not even close

Was it good? I was told that the Olives in Spain tasted alot better than the ones in USA.

Yeah, Nicoletti's looks rather dumpy, but they have great pizza!!!

Once, Ricks overcharged me on my bill and i only noticed it b/c i was looking at my bank statement. The person who i gave the tip too, added it more than what i had put, therefore, giving himself a larger tip.

I went back to complain and they told me that Rick wasn't there..i left my phone number and they said he would call...but he NEVER did..

Won't go back there ever again...

Just an oversight on Rick's part. He's a good guy. Don't count them out if you like their food. You probably would have been better off stopping in and talking with him.

Was it you who told me that fresh, uncured olives were disgusting?

I'll bet Rick never got the message because I'm sure he'd have called you to make it right.

Anyway, they have great pizza and excellent cheesesteaks. Just don't ask Cattitude about the chicken caesar salad.

I tried..he wasn't in and they told me that they would have him call me. I left my name and number and never heard from him.

The woman working actually pulled the receipt and it showed on there that he changed the tip...

The first time Desertrat met my dad, my dad walked him around the yard in Yuma, around the pool, past the olive tree. My dad told DR to try one of the olives because they were really good. They weren't ripe at all, and not good when they were, but DR, wanting to impress my dad, popped one in his mouth. He kind of gagged and spit it out. I thought my Dad would die laughing. Welcome to the family, DR. I sure miss my dad.

Every time we go out to a place that serves calamari my kids would get it for dinner along with a salad. They love Calamari!
