This is almost night work. Sun was down completely.

1.3 second Shutter @ F2.8

THis was just after 9pm in August. Shutter open for 25 seconds @ F 5

Hey JBR--that "busy streets of dc" is awesome--did you use a star effect filter too?...I have always wanted to try a shot like that---That could be a cool advertisement or postcard!

No, I didn't use the star filter. THe star effect you see on the street lights comes naturally from the aperture used. I shot that image at Shutter speed of 2.5 seconds and aperture of F22. The F22 is what really gives that starburst look.
