Romans 3:9 What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. 10 As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one;
11 there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.”
13 “Their throats are open graves;
their tongues practice deceit.”
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”
14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 ruin and misery mark their ways,
17 and the way of peace they do not know.”
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin
When I get up most mornings, Hubby already has the news tuned in. Every day I hear of murder and mayhem. People aren't afraid to kill other people because there seems to be no significant consequence. Oh, we're good at the jailing part [or the murder at the scene in the name of self-defense... a real paperwork killer]. We are really good at trials. We even find the tiniest DNA in pizza boxes. But the murders continue. No one is afraid to kill.

No one is afraid of God.

We all should be afraid of God... but no one is.

The 10 Commandments were brought down to just 2 Commandments when God's Son was here, and still, we can't even follow just two laws.

Just look at the number of divorces!!! Do we really think this is how ladies and gentlemen act? They used to stone adulterers in the street. Now they ask them out on a date.

Look at abortion!!! Thou shalt not commit murder. Look at withholding abortion in all cases!!! Thou shalt not commit murder.

OK then. God slacked up the reigns. He let Jesus hone the 10 down to 2. We still don't do that right!

1. Love God with all your heart mind and soul.
2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

We all should be afraid of God... but no one is.

No one is afraid of God.

Wait a minute now. After all the talk of Him being a loving and caring God, now we are supposed to fear Him? And ..... if one were to fall short of God, regardless of the sin, one just ask for forgiveness.

So, in this case, it is best to fear man's law, rather than that of God's.

So... you're more afraid of someone with a gun or an electric chair... than you are of a God who can and will split mountains and pour lava all over the place? You're more afraid of someone locking you up than you are of God striking you blind? You're more afraid of WOKE than you are of God striking the planet with lightning starting wildfires?

He's loving and caring. God talks softly but He carries a bigger stick.

We humans hung God's Only Begotten Son on a cross for everyone to see.... and then we humans don't expect any revenge because He is loving and caring?

Who does God love more? The abortionist or the mother? Does God get angry because women would rather kill themselves than have a baby in this messed up world?

God has been showing us He cares and we humans have been thumbing our noses at Him.

Who do our kids know better.... Spiderman, Superman, Trump, Biden, or God?

We don't fear God. That's extremely dangerous. On top of that.... I don't think people believe there is a hell!

Hummmm, checks notes ......

I do not fear God. Because: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Now, God, being all knowing, must have known that the Pharisees, aka the Jewish authorities in Roman Judea, would get Pontius Pilate to put him to the cross. An action that would galvanize the believers and create a martyr. God does not want us to fear him, but to try to walk a righteous path, knowing, that we all have the free will he granted us, and, that we might, at times, stumble on that path, hence forgiveness, when asked for. As well as last rights, for many, given before we die. God, loves, everyone, equally.

It appears that you have a lot of hate in your heart for those that stray off the path. You condemn when it is not your place to do so. You want to hate, hate the modern day Pharisee.

Look around you, my friend. How can you say the people are God Fearing?

True Christians are going to have eternal life.... and enjoyable eternal life.

Fake Christians are also going to get an eternal life.... in hell. But ask people... They don't think there is hell.

Fake preachers are teaching fake gospels and hoarding all the wealth. Fake preachers and priests are preying on women and children in the church.

If your preacher is honest with you.... he would have to agree that humans are not fearing God.

If people were fearing God, women wouldn't rather die than have a baby.

If people were fearing God, there would be no war. People who love each other as they love themselves don't go to war against each other.

If people were fearing God, there would be no unwanted homelessness. If people were fearing God, there would be no need for guns. If people were fearing God, there would be no need for pretending to be perfect for a buck.

Do you really think all those people who place their butts in pews on Sunday morning are Christians? Most of those in those pews are just unpaid actors who have no real love for Jesus. People wouldn't be going hungry if they were. All those who think they are better than someone else because they belong to the right party, and then sit their butts on a pew on Sunday Morning, are not following the second commandment.

Jesus taught us to Love God with all our hearts, mind, and soul.
Jesus taught us to Love One Another.

God is supposed to be feared. Christians will leave this earth before God gets His Revenge. I'm thankful for that. I'll be gone... but I'm sorry for those who don't make it because some rich preacher wanna be on the dole to the richest fake in the church told him "God loves you don't worry".

My earthly father used to smack my butt when I did wrong. My earthly father's smack got my attention. God sent a flood.... It got our attention for a little while. Now look.... look at what your brothers and sisters in humanity are doing to each other.... and tell me you aren't afraid of what God will do.

I'm not hateful... just truthful. Wake up everyone. Hell is real and God is angry!

You speak of antithesis. God is the Father. God is love and loves all, but you had better fear him. WTAF? Never have I heard any preacher, pastor, church leader, tell a congregation to "fear" God. Never. Do children "fear" their fathers or their mothers? No, they, after a time or instant of some mischief, learn to respect that their father or mother means what they say. And even if a child does fall short of their parents teachings, rules; even then, with a contrite apology when faced with punishment, the deed is forgiven. Have I ever feared my father? Never. Scared of what he might do if I were ever caught doing something bad, sure.

If indeed you think God should, must, be feared, then he is no God of mine. You would have been one of those quick to out someone to the pyre simply becasue they did not have the same view as you.

If there is one group of people needing to "fear" God, it is that of the modern day Pharisee. Just as Jesus said about the Pharisees: "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!"

Who are today's Pharisees? They are the ones full of greed and self-indulgence. They exhibit themselves as righteous and good, in fact, they are not righteous and good: their mask of righteousness hides a secret inner world of ungodly thoughts and feelings.

That not fear, that's dread. Funny after becoming an adult, he stills loves me as I do him.
God loves us.... And I should add that "fear" in those days is the same as "respect".

If I said no one "respects" God.... would this conversation continue? A few of us... around the world... love, fear, respect, and pray to God. A lot are fooling themselves and even more call it a "story".

I know God has a whole lot to talk to me about when I get there. I'm glad Jesus will be there to... running my defense team.

No one fears God anymore.... it's a damning shame....

Jesus will be along soon to clean up all the naysayers. He'll take over ruling earth for 1,000 years.

Jesus will be the prosecuting attorney for all those who say it's just a "story".

Then.... wait until the Father gets home.

I would like to think that you are referring to morality, spiritual or otherwise. Growing up, there was always that worry of going to hell if one sinned. It wasn't the fear of God, or a God, but eternal damnation absent forgiveness that one feared. Yes, our Nation has lost its way. Due to the unseen forces, that are very public, constantly chipping away at what is good, righteous and moral. Today's antics are proof of the downward spiral being promoted by those that enjoy sodomy, degeneracy, perversions, debauchery, vice and immorality, abortions without consequences, stigmatization, or ostracization. Wanting to bring all down to their level. There is a spiritual war, good vs evil, going on right now. Why do you think the White Christian is constantly under attack? It is those that had Christ killed that are destroying this Nation by killing his memory and deeds and lessons from the public square. And that, is a fact.

I'm only telling it as I see it. I know "queers" who have found the Lord. I know priests who have "slept" with the enemy. I've seen churches split and some even closed because the preacher was teaching fake gospel. A friend of mine was run out of the church after the preacher talked her into being his "favorite".

I remember the 50's when we all went to church on Sunday. I remember when after church, we all played as the parents talked. I remember saying the Lord's Pray in public school. I remember reading a scripture verse in a public school every morning. I remember when we used to stand for the pledge of allegiance after we honored our Lord, in a public school in Connecticut. Now... kids don't get any of that. People just don't fear the Lord any more.

Now.... Barbie, Football, Golf, even just fried chicken at the park, takes the place of church.

I've said nothing about white Christians being superior. Actually, since moving out to Arizona, I'm quite ashamed to be called a white Protestant Irish Christian. The way we have treated people over the years is deplorable.

Whether you call it fear or respect.... The church appears to have lost it. The public appears to have lost it. People are just hateful.

Jesus paid for the sins we did before we accepted Him. Jesus knew He would end up on the Cross.... but historically... it was a Gentile government pushed by a Jewish mob that put Jesus on the Cross. Some good Christians [members of "the Way"] stayed with Jesus all the way through. They will be judged to be "faithful" and they will see eternal life. The rest of us... the ones who would rather be hateful... won't bother to learn the two laws Jesus left us with. After all they don't even want to be in the same room as those "others" so they won't try to reach out and "Love" their neighbor. They wish their neighbor would move out!

I stand by my statement. No one fears God anymore.
