If the war in Ukraine is SO DEVASTATING to the world's economy --

Doesn't it behoove the rest of the world - or us - to do EVERYTHING WE CAN TO END IT?

I mean, the continual complaint from the left is, Putin's war is destroying - well, everything. Everything bad, from inflation to baby formula shortage, everything is caused by Putin.

So doesn't it mean, our number one priority ought to be - ENDING that war? Gathering the global community to do everything possible to get them to withdraw?

Maybe so, but from our vantage point we really don't know what's going on. We've got our media telling us that the Ukrainians are kicking Russia's ass at every meeting, but we keep having to send more arms. We've got Joe telling us how Putin has been crashing the economy and the oil market, but we saw both going down in an increasing spiral ever since het took office. I'd rather stay on the sidelines rather come in on the wrong side.

Yes and No ... but economic sanctions are not working ... even if the war ended yesterday, the west is not going to suddenly lift the sanctions
