Revelation 6:12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

A great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth: In the Bible, celestial disturbances are often connected with the coming of the Messiah. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Zephaniah and Jesus Himself all described such things.
A passage from Zephaniah is an example: The great day of the LORD is near; it is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter; there the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high towers. (Zephaniah 1:14-16)
Or, as in Joel 2:10-11: The sun and moon grow dark, and stars diminish their brightness… for the day of the LORD is great and terrible; who can endure it?
Those who regard these events as history have to greatly spiritualize them. One example is Adam Clarke, who said this great earthquake was “A most stupendous change in the civil and religious constitution of the world. If it refer to Constantine the Great, the change that was made by his conversion to Christianity might be very properly represented under the emblem of an earthquake.”
The sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth: It is best to regard these pictures as real, but poetic. John did not use technically precise scientific language, but he simply described what he saw.
And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves: All people are equally brought low by God’s wrath. The judgment is all the more profound because it is the wrath of the Lamb.

Do you know where Mt. Spurr is? How about Mt. Ranier, Mt. Helens or Mt. Hood? I would say almost everyone knows the volcanos in Hawaii are still going off.
Have you heard of the "Ring of Fire"? 75%, according to the google search, of the world's volcanic activity happens along the "Ring of Fire".
Haven't you heard of the Yellowstone Caldera in the Grand Canyon area? It's perking again.
Oh, and I haven't mentioned the volcanic action and earthquakes taking place in Greenland!
I heard Ohio has had a couple of quakes that registered up there around 6.2! Notice... Ohio is not located near the "Ring of Fire".
I guess you might "pooh, pooh" the earthquake that happened yesterday or the day before in Sterling, Alaska. It was only a 4.7 on the Richter Scale.
The other day I had a bottle of water sitting on the side table. All of a sudden, it got ripples in it... and the tiny waves kept up for several minutes. The table didn't seem to be buzzing. The floor didn't buzz, like it did back in Maryland when the earth quaked in Virginia. Yes, I had the TV on, but it had been on before and there were no ripples, and there have been no ripples since. I didn't feel a thing, but the water in the bottle told me something was up. Sure enough, there was an earthquake near San Diego! The water in my bottle reported it in Apache Junction, AZ. That's 377 miles away! It would take me over 5 hours to drive there... yet the water in my bottle sitting on the end table reported it. In the past 24 hours San Diego area has had 50 quakes, but the magnitude was 4.8 on the Scale or less. I guess we're tired of reporting on how San Diego rocks!
I know you've heard about the hidden magma cap in Yellowstone. I know you've seen the reports. They think it's bulging and a new geyser was reported the other day. So, I know you are aware that Yellowstone is blowing off more steam than normal!
Did you hear the report about the full "blood worm moon" that happened around the world on March 13th this year? It glowed red! Oh, and the sun will experience a full eclipse this year too. Yep, on September 7th and 8th, the sun will turn black again!
Check out verse 15.... Everyone ran to the caves to hide from the quake in John's Vision of "End Times"! All those beautiful buildings with all those amazing white stone sculptures will be a hazard in a major earthquake. People will run for God's shelter... the caves. I'm not sure hiding in a mountain cave while the mountains are shifting position is a really good idea.
HOWEVER, in verse 16, John reports that the people will be running to the caves to hide, and it might be a suicidal act, because they would rather be crushed in a cave then answer up to Jesus! A year ago, I would have been talking about people hiding in Gaza, or Ukraine, but I think God can do more damage than bombing that only rattles a shelter. God's quakes will be much worse.
Jesus has just opened the 6th Seal, according to John's report in the Scripture, verse 12.
Have you heard the magnetic field in the earth's core has shifted? That's causing problems with natural migration patterns!
We don't know when Jesus will be returning, but let's face it.... these signs are like labor pains. They are coming much more frequently and they are getting stronger. Did anyone in Sodom question the ripples in their cups of wine?
We may not know when Jesus is coming back. People have been watching the sky since He left. But face it, these signs should be moving everyone towards uttering the "Sinner's Prayer". I just hope the Pew Warmers and the fake preachers, priests, elders, and teachers don't twist everything up too bad before then, because humanity needs one more chance! We don't deserve it... but we will need it, desperately.
