they were a main staple of mine for a long time.

i used to buy this stuff by the crate.... Not only were they good, but you can fill up on them when your poor. There was no starving going on in my place. :lmao:

I hear ya. When my daughter moved to Towson, she must have gotten 5 ov the BJ's size cases of that stuff from various people (including me).

Never went on a camping trip without them.

A lady in my office used to bring them in all the time, The cleaning guy in our building used to buy them from her for a quarter a package. She made out like a bandit, especially since you can get 10 packages for $1.00. We told him this, but he said he didnt have time.

We found out over the Holidays that the seasoning packet from the Oriental flavor makes an okay dip when mixed with a pint of sour cream, but 2 packets was too strong. I think the ginger overpowered the other ingredients.

Never crossed my mind to do that.... what did you eat with it? chips?

Chips, carrots sticks and celery. It's a whole lot cheaper than Lipton's Onion soup, and the daughter had the noodles in plain beef broth.
