North Beach Robberies

I was told there is information on this site about the numerous robberies that are happening nightly in North Beach over the past month. I heard the antique store Nice N Fleazy was robbed and over a dozen sheds, some people are getting robbed more than once, even while they are home. The area that seems to be getting hit is just out of city limits, from Cincinnati and 5th Street, 4th Street and Chicago east to Greenwood and Frederick. Does anybody have any information?

Contact Calvert County Sheriff. Not sure what information you need. They would have all the details.

me neither, I live there also. That's why i told the op to contact ccso. may just be rumors. our HOA is good about keeping on top of that sort of stuff with ccso and sending out emails if we need to be aware of goings on. so, who knows.....

I was told there is information on the Southern MD Website, I assume this is the one. These crimes are happening, it is not rumor sad to say. The people that have the Haunted House for the kids on Frederick in between 2nd and 3rd have been robbed several times. From what I hear for the most part they are breaking into sheds and stealing tools and equipment and they have thrown rocks through windows of cars to steal contents.

I'd heard that that location was visited at least twice, but hadn't heard about nice & fleazy - According to local folks, it's one adult and at least two juveniles.

There have been numerous thefts over the last several weeks, mostly from sheds. The thefts are primarily of tools and equipment like chain saws.

The car thefts have primarily been random in that they have been from unlocked vehicles. Those that have been accompanied by damage have been of items like GPS units or cell phones left in sight.

A few of the thefts have been solved and arrests made but most are still under investigation.
