State Police North East Barrack Memorial Day Weekend Call Log

(North East, MD) – Over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, troopers from the Maryland State Police’s North East Barrack conducted a DUI deterrent traffic initiative. Troopers in Cecil County provided an increased law enforcement presence to reduce crashes and increase motorist safety. In addition to regular patrols, the North East Barrack provided an increase in patrol presence by adding eight additional troopers on State Highway Administration funded grants to focus on DUI and aggressive driving enforcement.
