Norton scan has been stuck

for 2 days now. It looks like it is active has found one low priority risk, but has not advanced in files scanned. I can't make it quit or fix the issue. What do I do?

Reboot and try it again. If computer won't shut down normally push and hold the power button.

If no go, try to update Norton, try again

If that doesn't do it. Clear your cache, defrag and try again.

If the option is available in your particular version, repair Norton

If that doesnt do it. Uninstall norton then reinstall.

Lastly Call Symantec and they'll likley either tell you what to do and /or offer to take over your computer and attempt to repair themselves.
