I have pretty good hand-eye coordination and it was pretty easy once I got comfortable with the grip and realizing that there wasn't much recoil. Thanks to you and 2A for teaching me the RIGHT way. I may even get brave enough to try your Glock next time.
But I'm going to have a hot date with a doctor named Ben Gay VERY soon - my arm is starting to kill me.
It was only a .22, but I think I might have done some serious damage.appyday said:Glad it was not a real person you were shooting at..
ONE picture versus 16 makes a heck of a lot of difference. Ungrateful wench.sure had no problem posting a pic of that but the parade was a problem..sheesh....
Heck, I'm already feeling it BIG time. I won't sleep alone tonight with Ben Gay to keep me company.J/K Glad you had fun...if the arm hurts tonight wait till you feel it in the morning

Pouring the wine now...appyday said:Ben Gay...some good pain killers and a wine cooler...
:flashBOOM: That about scared the bejeebers out of me the first time. I thought I was pretty brave when I eventually reloaded with him firing next to me.Sharon said:Then you can work your way up to 2A's .44 DE & we'll have to start calling you Dirty Harriet.
Two or three? They look like horses pills. Are you SURE you gave me the right ones? :shrug:appyday said:Take some of those pink pills I gave you the other day...work every time..
Rut-roh raggy.......................................appyday said:I take a 1/2.................you will sleep good tonight...nighty night Miss Jazzy
Yes, master....2ndAmendment said:You were a great student.
Excellect eye-hand coordination.
Now grasshopper, ...
Holding a pistol, even a light one, at arms length for extended periods of time uses muscles you rarely use if you are not a shooter. I think the Ruger Mark II weights about 2 lbs loaded. That's like holding a 2 pound hammer at arms length. You did it for about an hour total when you subtract the reloading time. That is a long time to hold 2 lbs at arms length.jazz lady said:Thanks.

But next time those muscles will be stronger. You will be steadier and you will shoot even better ... and that's scary. You're good now at normal "confrontation" range.jazz lady said:Ain't that the truth. Owie........ :sux2bmetomorrow:
Thanks. I guess all those "wasted" hours playing video games and shooting darts is coming in handy now. Just like when I first started playing them, my muscles ached until I built them up. It truly is "practice makes perfect."2ndAmendment said:But next time those muscles will be stronger. You will be steadier and you will shoot even better ... and that's scary. Go ahead, punk. Make my day.BuddyLee said:Now I can't make any bad jokes about Jazz.
On a serious note, I've been thinking about asking my dad to go out with me to shoot his ole .22.jazz lady said:Go ahead, punk. Make my day.
