These are pictures of the Eagles that are living on the South River.
If you zoom in on the adult in both of the two shots you can see the partially eaten fish in its talons.

The young just recently came out of the nest and are still trying to get mom to feed them. Shes not playing the game anymore.

next question is how you shrink them down in size well enough to fit the requirements of attachments here while maintaining the quality of the shot. I seem to lose alot in the resizing. Im using VSO image resizer to do it.

these photos were taken at

reason I ask about the resizing is because on the original size I can count the feathers on the birds, but when I shrink them that quality goes away quickly.

Great shots BCP !
I'm gettin' a new telephoto for my birthday,

:yay:
I just got the lens yesterday so Im am still working with it. (pan lady gave it to me for my birthday)

Today I picked up a good quality heavy tripod so I can start doing some decent exposure shots.
looking forward to playing with the new toys on my trip to the Rocky mountains.

May not be able to. Do you not have an account at one of the photo sites that will allow you to embed the images in your post?

They can feel strong and impressive... until you have to carry one for a couple hours. (I know, I have one.) The light metals cost more, but prove to be worth the investment over time - and are equally as stable.

I think I forgot the word duty, as in heavy duty,.

I got the Sunpac Ultra 7500
its weight is only 6 lbs. Since I didnt feel like running around looking at all the various camera shops and whatnot, I just stopped into Best Buy while I was out that way.
I picked the one I got because out of their choices it was the only one that would extend to my eye level (almost), it had two of the mounting pads with it so I can just connect one to the camera, and one to camcorder.
It was also one of the only two there that felt sturdy when up, the rest of them seemed a bit wobbly.

Great Shots. Ahhhh the fun to be had with a tele. Thanks for the high honor of my name in the thread title. :blushing:

I dont know the software you are using but in most I use you can set the quality level to what you want. Its a balance of pixel size. compression and what not. For web viewing aim for 400 to 600 pixel , no bigger than 800 pixel and about 150kb file size for good quality.

Do you shoot in .raw ? or just .jpg?

Great Job BCP. Cheers DeadEye:yay::yay:

those were shot in JPG.
however I can and do switch over to raw if I am going to be playing with my HDR software, or plan on doctoring in GIMP.

99% of my shots are JPG.
