LEONARDTOWN - NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Commissioners of St. Mary’s County will hold a Public Hearing March 1, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. in the Chesapeake Building, 41770 Baldridge Street in Leonardtown to consider public input on proposed ordinance for supplemental appropriation to the County’s FY2022 General Fund Operating Budget and can be viewed at http://www.stmarysmd.com/publichearing.asp.
To consider a supplemental appropriation of $4 million to allow the County to proceed with additional FY2022 grant funding. This action allows the County to proceed with the activities and costs appropriate to respond to the needs of its citizens as outlined in the various grant documents.
In accordance with the Public Health Advisory on public gathering sizes, the public participation is subject to capacity limits for in person participation. Those wishing to address the Commissioners may also participate via teleconferencing, email, written correspondence or prerecorded video submissions. The public hearing may be viewed on SMCG Channel 95 or the SMCG YouTube Channel.
