One time I had a terrible tooth ache and Momma Rugg called and called and the only dentist she could find was one up by Pinemore and he had a lot of chickens in his yard. He worked out of his trailer back in the woods and was the only dentist around cause the rest went to a dentist seminar in Baltimore at the Days Inn and he wasn’t invited. He didn’t use no Novocain, he used some kinda voodoo pressure point thing. He put a clothespin on my right earlobe and one on the meat part tween my thumb and pointer finger and he went to drilling and it worked I didn’t feel a thing. Momma Rugg was so impressed that she tried it on Rod one time when he has a boil on his nether regions she had to lance. I figure she must got the clothespins in the wrong place cause she put the hot knife to Rod’s nether region and he screamed and kicked the candle Momma Rugg used to sterilize the knife over and set her cross stichin stuff on fire. I figured she was gonna kick Rods head slap off cause she was workin on that cross stitchin thing for weeks but she didn’t. Momma Rugg always had a fondness for Rod.
