I guess I'm experiencing the same bewilderment the Left feels about Trump -
How is it that 73-74 MILLION people voted for her anyway? Was it all "hate Trump" votes? I'm occasionally popping around social media and finding threads of people mad, upset, disgusted and enraged that Trump won. They can't even talk about ANY subject without injecting how much they hate the orange clown.
Now THAT - I don't get - but I have NEVER met someone who thought Kamala was a good choice - just the only possible alternative.
Worse - there are pockets around cities in states that went RED - that are exceedingly BLUE - like Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit, which went 70-80% for Harris.
There's still some very interesting outcomes - 90% of all counties in the United States moved more towards Trump, even if they went for Harris. 54 counties flipped from blue to red. ERIE County - widely mentioned as a national bellwether - flipped to red.

Last night, Tom Shillue asked Tyrus why he thought - as early as last spring, but the MOMENT it went to Harris - that Trump had, and probably BIG. He said it's because - in a nutshell - he simply COULD NOT FIND any enthusiasm for her.
I am still concerned about ONE TREND that Harris tried, and it might still work in the future - and that's the whole "fake bandwagon" idea - that people decide to get on board with a candidate, because they see popularity browing. Tony Kornheiser used to observe this, with the Redskins - and he CALLED it "the bandwagon". Tepid Redskins fans would SUDDENLY show bona fide enthusiasm, once the team started winning 10, 11 games and a playoff berth was CERTAIN.
Kamala and others that follow her DO believe they can generate excitement for a candidate without anything resembling a plan, credentials, experience - just lots of imagery, celebrity, social media presence - and JUICED polls. It DID NOT work this time, because no matter how wonderful they made it look, people could still smell a stinker of an economy without being gaslit into believing they were wrong.
Look to see more of this, however, in the future. A candidate like Newsom who will run on smiles and good will, but his driving California into the shitter won't ever come up.
