On Wednesday, NBCUniversal announced that “Days of Our Lives,” NBC’s longest-running series, will be moving to the company’s streaming service, Peacock, starting Sept. 12.

According to NBC, the fan-favorite drama is making the move to help launch “NBC News Daily” in the drama’s former network time slot.

Because yeah, that's just what daytime viewers want - more freaking news.

I thought most soap operas were dead. Having to keep up with the Jones's pretty much had all moms heading for work in the mid to late 70s and pretty much killed the daytime tv viewing.

One drama show out, only to be replaced with another drama show. Well, that's what a lot of these news shows are, right?

Looked for info, only 4 remain on air: The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS), Days of Our Lives (NBC), General Hospital (ABC), and The Young and the Restless (CBS). As one might think, ratings are down as the audience is aging out.

Millenials have and are enough drama, they don't need to watch it.
