Follow up...
I realized a long time ago...I like my wife's voice.
she sings alto,...reads outloud to my daughter, and on rare occasions tries to prompt a prolonged conversation.
That said...we spend many hours commuting together and so conversation is often limited to the day's events at school.-followed by sleeping and reading.
I spend too much time considering the right word or analogy or description...thus, my conversation is...not too engaging. (Unless it involves history & politics)
Want to do a sample study? Go into a lunch room where the girls are out...compared to one where the guys are gone-wow. Profound difference in noise.
