NY Times ridiculed for using shotgun shell photo to promote article attacking AR-15s: ‘This is hysterical’

The New York Times has frequently attacked guns and the Second Amendment

"I find it amusing," Townhall.com columnist Kurt Schlichter responded to a tweet pointing out the shotgun shells reading, "I am once again begging the MSM journalists to take just a couple of basic firearms class to avoid dumba--ery like this."

The Spectator contributing editor Stephen Miller simply tweeted an image of Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who was recently traded in exchange for WNBA player Brittney Griner. Bout was previously dubbed the "Merchant of Death" due to the impact of his weapons sales, but many liberal media pundits continued to praise the trade regardless.

The Times editorial board continued to attack what they claim is an "unhealthy obsession" with the AR-15.

I absolutely agree... The press have an unhealthy obsession with the AR-15.

If the media avoids dumbassery, they won't have much to report. No more stories about safe spaces or how sunlight disproportionately affects black & brown people.

Not at all, it keeps making them darker.
Yup. Used to work with a black woman at my first job, first black person I had really had a friendship with. Out of curiousity, I asked her if black people get tans. She looked at me really weird, then laughed and said yes.

My friend in Jr High school told me when she was a toddler her Momma would put cocoa butter on her and sit her in the sun because her Pops said she was too light skinned.

Here's a funny story. When I was about 15 a couple of half hispanic-half black children, not much more than toddlers, asked if they could touch my hair. I asked why and they said they had never touched a white person's hair. Okay, children that age don't quite know how to lie yet, so I checked their hands first and then said okay. They kept saying "Ooh, It's so soft!!! Ooh, It's so soft!!!". God knows what they were expecting.

 My nieces did that the first time I grew a beard. They were under 10 and no one in the family had a beard, so they were surprised it wasn't rough and scraggly.

Remember the “ghost gun” obsession earlier this year? Every news channel was attacking them day and night until the BATFE changed policy and states banned them. Same thing is happening with AR-15’s right now. Something’s going to happen in regards to legislation.

My friend Louis is one of the darkest brown men I know. He has to wear sunscreen as he gets sunburned.
