Strung Out
...the Oculus is one of the oddest man made things I've ever seen. You walk in and it is so stark white, and big, everyone down below look like ants.
Outside, the shape is just....odd.
Imagine, if you will, Grand Central Station. The history, warmth, familiarity, beauty, the majesty of it. The enormity. All the trains. Now, take away everything but the trains. And the enormity. And add in a giant space alien skeleton looking thing.
There you have it.
Oh, and when you have $49 Amtrak tickets, don't be 30 seconds late. The price difference for the next train is...painful.
And don't catch a train out of NYC at 6 pm on a Saturday. Unless you like people. A lot.
