Just putting this out there for what it's worth. I'm planning a cruise on the Oasis for Dec 18th 2010 (5 days). If anyone is thinking about going, there may be some perks if enough rooms are booked to be considered a group (6 is the minium) and I've got 2 right now. Booking would be through Personal Touch Vacations located in Leonardown.

Just curious, but why did you decide to use a travel agent?

She was able to book rooms that I could not even get directly with RC. Not sure why that was the case. I also wanted another set of eyes out there in case any deals/discounts become available in the future. Also, as stated in the original post, there are possible perks if we are considered a group.

Cruise lines are always releasing cabins. One day you might see a particular room, the next day it might be gone. It could pop up again, you just never know. You can book a group w/out the aide of a travel agent with all the perks, too. Keep looking out for deals on your own and if you see a price drop, call your travel agent to let him/her know.

Thanks for the tip, will do. Yea, the RC person said the same thing so I booked what I could get and live with for now so that I at least had something.
