Can someone please recommend a good OB/GYN in the Lexington Park, Prince Fred, Leonardtown area. Also, any thoughts on the local hospitals is appreciated (for pregnacy).

Thank you.

Lisa Polko--Leonardtowm. She is fabulous and is her nurse practitioner, Anne Naru. I've not seen the others in her practice , but those two are super!

Drs. Polko, Davis and Shonekan are all at the same practice in Leonardtown. I've seen all of them and they have been great.

Dr Polko and NP Anne Naru are great. I had both kids at St Mary's Hospital and had a great experience both times. No complaints. JMHO- stay away from Dr Joyce Neal.

St. Mary's is nice, I delivered both of my children there. Also, Dr. Neal & Dr. Nwadike where my OB's with both pregnancies, I have no complaints about either one of them I actually like them both a lot. BTW Dr. Neal actually delivered both of my kids via c-section one for failure to progress & the other scheduled, no problems at all. Good luck to you!

Dr. Alonzo in Prince Frederick at Calvert Memorial Hospital. She has been awesome so far, I have been seeeing her since I found out I was pregnant (26 weeks). I have had to go to Calvert Memorial once and they were great.

I used Dr. Tilley and delivered at St. Mary's. Not one complaint about either one. Still use Dr. Tilley even though I won't be having any more children.

Dr. Mitra just delivered my baby last week at Calvert. Both were wonderful! Dr Mitra works at both P. Fred and Solomons offices. If I were having any more babies, Dr Mitra would be my OB again for sure.
