This is the reason I left the Rep party. They had years to come up with a plan to really fix Obamacare and paying for health care in general. What was their big plan ultimately... eliminate the mandates.

So among the problems to resolve health care in this country, a big one would be to figure out how to bring down the actual costs.
I suspect SOME of it is how pharma charges Americans more, to finance their research - medication - the SAME medication - is cheaper elsewhere.

Some of it I am sure is regulation, fees and - yeah - malpractice insurance and legal fees. And taxes.

Of course - I do think that American medicine - in many areas - is superior to the rest of the world. But you get what you pay for.

When hospitalization costs upwards of $15,000 dollars a year the cost is too high I personally pay over $20,000 dollars a year.
