OBD 3 - NO more speeding, NO more modding, NO MORE CAR CULTURE?

It sounds like we need to take some lessons from cuba in keeping our “old” cars running. I see a new industry rising where people will offer to disconnect your car from the “cloud” and bypass/overwrite certain software in our vehicles.

Just fought OBD I(?) again this weekend. I'm glad I posted the procedure here so I could reference it. My truck decided someone was trying to steal it, I guess. It disabled the fuel pump. I had to reset the onboard security to get it going again

Anyway, the newest vehicle I have is 2005 and I'll keep them alive as long as I can.
