Obd Ii Splitter

So I am trying to find a reliable OBD II splitter for my truck. Currently, I have a Prodigy II brake controller plugged in it. I just picked up a programmer for my truck that of course, wants the same plug.

Are there any reliable splitters out there? I've read that with some, it will only apply power to one of the other when it comes to using it like this.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If it works the same as mine, you program it standing still (engine off), so there isn't a need to have the brake controller hooked up. Pull the brake controller, plug in the programmer, program the 'puter, disconnect it and plug your brake controller back in.

Yeah, I coulddo that, but the one I have has live diagnostic reads, and I can pull over or just be at a stop light and change the settings without turning the truck off. I picked this one because I change settings on the fly while I'm towing. Easy fix would be to switch to a hydraulic break controller rather than electric, but then I'd have to sell my prodigy 2 and I'd have done holes in my console now :ohwell:

Ok, I'mma leave it at complete brain failure, and say everything is fine now :lmao:

And let's just say, I did a lot of :banghead: for it last night when I realized, I had a :stupid: moment
