Octavia's Colt!

Octavia didn't waste any time last night! We got the phone call @ 9:14 and by the time we pulled up to the farm at 9:31 the foal was out and she was standing up.

Here's the colt after about 15 minutes -

After about while he decided that he was going to try to stand up -

After an hour and half he was hungry!

And from then on he was up and down eating and bugging Mama all night. Oh, and he's 10.2h

This morning he's sleepy and we put a little foal blanket on him. We still have to pick a name though. Hmmmmm.

Why don't you name him ThisBuds4u after the horse who helped you learn to ride in 4h horse science school? :starcat:

Phyxius, I'm new hear, but saw your post and just had to comment on the cute baby pictures....I'm with KMPaddy, moon names are a GREAT idea.

Enjoy your baby. I want a baby so bad....but I can't convince my hubby or my ma'.

I've never been in 4h or to horse science school and I know an appy named This Bud's For You. He's a cute chubby leopard app.:starcat:

Yup, I didn't realize that until I saw someone else's coggins. I'm managing a show this weekend and was setting up the schedule and saw that a Dr. Linda Miller had pulled the coggins for a particular horse and I did an "Oooohhhhhhh".
