Rocky Mountain High!!
In this month's issue of O the Oprah Magazine there is an article detailing how a woman's choice in a dog should coincide with her choice in a MAN. VERY interesting read if i must say so  We have Rotties who don't talk much, are pretty intimidating when they want to be, but big softies at the core...JUST like my Rott-N-Cop! I'll say I have to agree with what it says...
I checked the website and that's the one article i can't find on the website. :frown: Sorry....

The article didn't mention too many specific breeds, and i've been a Rott owner for 24 years so i didn't count the 'lil ones. We are also the proud owners of a lovely pair of Australian Cattle Dogs (ACDs) a Blue speckled boy named Monty and a red girl named Cinnamon, who are similar in temperament to the Rott. it was more generalized, and even mentioned mutts and their personalities. It said (basically) that those dogs we got along with best is a good indication on what type of man we should choose. My guess would be....the choice in man would be brave, not afraid of communication, and tenatious, kind of like ME! the Jacks are Rottncop's choice, Maybe the reverse is also true?

:killingme Actually, our Jack was picked out by my husband. If I had my choice, I would have had another lab, but of course, I love my dog. He is the bestest, but labs are so loyal and dedicated.

You are right. My Jack is very loyal, but after having a lab, I notice that the loyalty is different. My Jack isn’t as perceptive as our lab was, as far as the feelings of those in the house. If you were not feeling well, our lab was right there to cuddle. The Jack on the other hand, will just avoid you. :lmao: That might be because they are known for being smart. I had this lab before children, and he died when our kids were small. Right now, our Jack is very much the kid’s dog. He follows them everywhere and he even sleeps with them.

Oh don't get me wrong, mine find all kinds of stink to roll in. They get in the trash, steal treats from under the sink, and any other kind of mischeif they can find. But, I've seen him walk the house at the slightest sound, and if I'm sick, he won't leave the bed.
