Tell me this - when you read that headline, did you think - wow - ANTI-immigrant types got nasty and injured a cop?
Doesn't the headline - suggest that?
Nope - the PROTESTORS were peaceful. It's the COUNTER-protestors who called them racists - they were the ones who got violent.
So why doesn't the headline mention that?
What's weird is, I looked at the link BECAUSE I KNEW THIS KIND OF BIAS was likely. I mean, really, how often - besides maybe, abortion clinic BOMBINGS (and that kind of behavior is rare in comparison to numbers of protests - and not condoned by conservatives) - do conservatives get VIOLENT during protests? Doesn't that basically undermine the whole message?
