Had a video telemed conference with my oncologist today (Dr Minal Shah of the Wildewood Cancer recovery Center).

She was smiling as she delivered her interpretation of the blood work of 5 May and the CT scan of 12 May.

When I received the diagnosis of an adenocarcinoma in the head of my pancreas on 14 May 2015, was given a 7% chance of making it 5 years.

Dr Shah said I am indeed free of any sign of cancer.

2 June will make 5 years post surgery.

I am now on an annual followup.

I felt pretty bullet proof after the news.
However, the celebratory bottle of wine last night let me know this morning that I'm not.

Congratulations ! Dr. Minal Shah is my oncologist too, she is awesome, I could not have asked for a better doc and the staff there at Wildewood Cancer Recovery Center was so good to me. I will soon be 10 years cancer free ;-)
