Sam piped up with the old "Sticks in my craw" phrase earlier today.

I've heard the line "warms the cockles of my heart" several times.

What is one you use on a regular basis?

My pick is "Never miss and opportunity to miss an opportunity."

One I hear all to often is, "It is what it is". What does that even mean?

It means that it doesn't matter what you want it to be, it is what it is, so stop griping about what should be and focus on how you will respond to what is.

That's my favorite phrase because dithering about what should be is one of my pet peeves.

"This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you". Knowing the whole time I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it.
