Awwwww...reminds me of the old Basset that lived on the farm years ago at the end of our road. He was so old and droopy. He'd lost his eyes and actually just showed up at the farm that way and they kept him. But he'd get out in the middle of the road and just stand there and his "parts" dragged on the ground when he walked.
You could walk up to him and he would start sniffing in the air, he knew a stranger was near and he would let out his Bassett woof and his short little front legs would come off the ground.
