You are missing the point. This isn't about "historic" by any means. The Fire Marshall ALLEGES it may or may not have been accidental.
This flys in the face of a Calvert County's, White Supremacist's holding the l'il man down. You see, in 1978, a poor sharecroppers son, broke free from his Masters Plantation in.....uh, .... Scientist's Cliffs....yeah, that's it.... seeking refuse from tyranny under Bootsy's Storm Trooper Militia.
None of those Deputies wore masks at the time. Swine Flu ran rampant as did the Tylenol killer aspirin!! The young man, yearning to be free ran right past this flimsy structure, actually brushing against it!!!
Steney "Steney" Hoyer designated this monuments heritage, to the plight of AA's and those who sided with them.

Sears, Roebuck has donated 3.5 million to the underserved community within hours of the fire.

You realize that half (or more) of the people who post here don't have a clue what Scientist's Cliffs is or who Bootsie was?

As a refresher; Scientist's Cliffs was basically for those CIA or secret research type scientists. Plus in the Scientist's Cliffs covenants, only scientists, or the high degreed, could buy a house there. Bootsie, the Sheriff? Well just a good 'ol boy upholding the fine traditions in the county. But let's not forget the notorious Judge Perry Gray Bowen.

if it was St. Mary's it would of never happened. I'm pretty sure were well on the way to requiring $20,000 sprinkler systems in a building of any sort but definitely new houses. You need a perc test to build a play ground in some cases (yes I'm not making that up). You need a subdivision to build a barn (legally) on your farm lands.

A subdivision or a building permit? It makes no sense to require a subdivision to be filed to build a barn unless the property is being split. You'd likely also need a site plan, but again that doesn't normally require a subdivision.
