When Obama got in office & had the majority in both houses, they rammed through just about any legislation they wanted...with or without the support of republicans. Only in the Senate did he have to worry about fillibusters, but not much with closet democrats like Olympia Snow.

NOW...NOW that the Republicans have taken back the house, he is calling for bi-partisan efforts...to reach across the aisles to work together...to work responsibly together....

I didn't see it, I'll see if I can watch it later (as in ABLE without getting ill). Anyway, that bill and all his other POS legislation and Executive Acts are going to be scrutinized and falsehoods (You Lie!), unconstitutionality and pork will be laid bare. I hope the R's are held at fault as well, along with ALL the D's. And I hope the 1st thing they do is investigate BO's eligibilty for his position.

He wasn't alone in his partisan politics. Nancy Pelosi held meetings behind closed doors and wouldn't even let Republicans in to hear what was said.
