What happened in Waldorf this evening in the shopping center where Tommy's Market is?

I was up at the Little Gym up there by the Wonder Bread store. As I was leaving a little before 7:00, the emergancy vehicles started showing up in the shopping center on the other side of Wonder Bread. At least 20 police cars (all County cops that I could see), an ambulance and a fire truck. I drove past there again about an hour later and there was crime scene tape marking off a large section of the parking lot and what appeared to be a pile of clothing or maybe a large duffle on the ground inside the tape.

I haven't lived or hung out in 'dorf for 15 years, I don't know where the public housing is anymore. I can tell you what was there 15 years ago..... Used to be a video store, now I think it's a tatoo parlor. I think it's call the "Village Center." Tommy's Market is where the old High's store used to be, but the area marked off with the tape was next to the little "island" of 3-4 stores in the middle of the parking lot that used to be the video store, a deli and a liquor store. The pile of clothes/duffle/dead body/whatever was on the asphalt next to the sidewalk to the left of the building.

Must have been a shooting or stabing. Drove by just as the ambulances were arriving. Police were attending to a man face down on the ground, not moving. On way home, saw what looked like a big blood spot where guy was on the ground.

It was a shooting. From what I heard on the police scanner a guy was shot 2 times in the head. Don't know any more than that.
