I got another litterbox for the kitties because you've always said that one for three cats isn't enough. Well, now they only use the new box - haven't touched the old one.

I would have thought Claudia, at least, would be tickled to have her own catbox but apparently she isn't. :ohwell:

I saw one of ours this morning peeing in the bathroom sink.
Guess which one.

Kitties like new, clean things. I'm guessing the "newness" will not be so new once they all start crapping in it and they'll use both of them.

It will work itself out. Actually, mine have a pee box and a poop box....for the most part anyway. Booger has to watch me clean the boxes EVERY NIGHT and he takes a crap in the first one I clean out...EVERY TIME!!

One of mine is crapping next to the box still. Not as much because I am letting them go out more.

I have one that does that likes to do that to me.. I'll scoop the litter box at night and the next morning i'll wake up and there will be a huge pile of flaming poo right in front of the litterbox!!

She probably saw :gossip: do it a couple of weeks ago when we were shooting pool. He was pretty : :alkies:

Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.
They won't take you to the vet.
You're obviously not their favorite pet.
It may not be a bed of roses.
And you're no friend to those with noses.

Okay, get this:

Claudia was up here meowing at me incessantly. So I got up and said, "Okay, show me what the problem is." I followed her down to the laundry room where the litterboxes are. She stood in front of the new one, looked in, looked at me, looked in, looked at me.

So I looked in the catbox, thinking maybe there was a dead body in there and she was trying to be a hero.

Nope - just a couple of clumps.

Yet the box right next door was clump-free. So I scooped the new box, and she ran happily inside to do her business.

Stupid cats.
