The samsung TV started to pop crackle and fizz so I bought a Vizio 43".

Fixed, thanks to HH and a you tube tutorial.

I am trying to synchronize the Comcast remote to the Vizio.... Wang Foo, (Vizio customer support) wasnt able to tell me if the Comcast reset code was 2,3,4, or 5 digits, and said the carrier (Comcast) had the answer. S.O.L. Comcast CS is temporarily down for some 3rd party litigation sh!t. I went online and found a number of codes but for instance, I insert "19" (one of the codes), it directs me to channel 19..

any help?

You typically have to hold the setup button for several seconds before the remote is ready to accept a new code. The code for pairing is typically 5 digits I think - 19 doesn’t sound right.
