They'll put a "Free Brittney!" banner on their Twitter Profile.... she knelt for the Democrats, yet they won't intervene to get her out of a Russian prison. They'll fret and get some eyeballs with sensational headlines, but won't lift a finger to actually help her.
If she gets out is she going to kneel at the next playing of the National Anthem?
I could give a sh*t about whatever her name is, but it's interesting that she knelt for the Democrats, yet they won't intervene to get her out of a Russian prison. They'll fret and get some eyeballs with sensational headlines, but won't lift a finger to actually help her. She even checks all their boxes: black, lesbian, America hater.
Not that I think she deserves it - don't break laws in foreign countries, simple. I'm guessing she thought that because she's a minor celebrity among the handful of Americans who give a crap about WNBA, she was special. Now she findin' out different. But it's interesting that Gropey Joe isn't lifting a finger for his comrade.
Don't forget the pronouns. They'll put a "Free Brittney!" banner on their Twitter Profile.
Right next to their Ukrainian Flag Icon and the BLM Fisty.
Americans in left behind in Afghanistan has entered the chat.Latest news is a prisoner exchange of Griner along with another American already in jail for a Russian arms dealer serving 25 yrs here.
Shame it wasn't Nazi Germany, I know the lingo. Zucken ze dick or nein sauerkraut.
9.5 years...she gets credit for the 6 months she has been in jail...stupid does hurt..
From the voice, I thought it was a man, too.her speaking about her jail time
Pardon her? Oh hell no. Her sentencing has a two pronged effect. 1) That regardless of where you are from, Russian laws will apply. 2) The Russian people themselves see an "American", of somewhat now high profile, being charged, found guilty, and thrown in jail, makes them think twice about doing something similar. And 3) Absent the skirmish in Ukraine, the outcome would have been the same. Apparently laws are enforced in Russia.I believe the Russians are going out of their way to make it hard on this woman, but circumstances worked against her and she did break the law.
To me the smart thing for the Russians to do now would be to pardon her and deport her and ban her from their country. Why feed , clothe and support her for 9 years? What's to gain?
She broke the law and then got caught in political BS.
Despite as tall as she is her B-Ball career is over in 9 years.
