Old Monitors

I have some old monitors that I need to get rid of. Are they basically useless now and can/should they just be taken to the landfill?

Monitors contain either lead or mercury... You may not be able to take them...

or there may be a special container for them...

Good point. I'll call first. So you think there's no other use for them? I guess even schools don't use these big, clunky things anymore...

Im sure if you were willing to invest the time, you could find a worthy cause to donate them to... I guess it depends on how fast you are looking to get rid of them...

Go to the convience center....they have a place for old computers, TVs, monitors

They dispose of them properly :yay:

I took some to the transfer station off Happyland road. They had a special shed/building for electronics.
