Old Spice and Women's Smelly Stuff

No not that smelly stuff.

BF and I got into one our deep provocative discussions on the porch swing the other day. He said I smelled like an antique store. Again, not where you're thinking. This is not a Lume post. I said you mean I smell like potpourri? Him: Yeah is that what that stuff's called?

I was wearing Jean Nate. I know it been around forever but I'm a boomer, that's what we wore back then, especially in the summer in Baltimore where it was hot and sticky. It was light and if you kept it in fridge, it really felt cool on your skin. This was not old Jean Nate that I found on ebay. It was a brand new and pricier than it used to be bottle.

He said stick to the Chanel.

At $100.00 a bottle, Chanel is for good dates, not sitting on the swing and drinking beer dates.

So it occurred to me, men have Old Spice and it smelled good on every guy who's every worn it. And it's fairly inexpensive, they can wear it every day, to every occasion and it's never gets old.

What do we have????? Did I miss something? Is there a female equivalent to Old Spice?

I've found that a couple of those little tree air fresheners, stapled to the armpits of a t-shirt, work wonders.

My Grammy would say vanilla extract.

But don't worry, @GregV814 should be along shortly to make recommendations.

I can't wait. :duh:
I can.

Thought about this all the way home.

Men can get away with $20.00 haircuts and still look good. Women...well me personally $76.00 and it's hit or miss how it looks.

Men - Shave don't shave...they still look good. Women...yeah I'd hear about it.

Men - Grey hair...no problem; they look distinguished. Fresh out of the shower, run thir fingers through it; they have the tousled look. Women...whereas some look good with grey hair, but a lot more just look older, and there's gel, mousse, texturizers, curl cream, conditioners, and a thousand other hair products to get it to look the way THEY want it.

Men - do they even sag as they get older?

Then there's nails, makeup, body lotions, and my personal pet peeve; why men have a whole expanding fragrance line for less than $30.00.

It's a man's world.

Rant over.

Yes, yes they do and sometimes you sit on the saggy bits.

Yes I have and if it was a woman's product, there would be a thousand other necessary products needed to boost the effects. You're a man and you look a thousand times better the minute you apply it.

For your consideration ...

Their big heavy cojones do, over time. Though just a bit lower. Except for the soy boys. Theirs actually never really develop, and shrink instead.
What happens to them when you lay back. There was bit on Golden Girls years ago, women look better when they lay on their backs like an instant facelift, but the boobs flop off to the sides.

God must have a great sense of humor.

You haven't seen the commercials where the guy's "woman" is always using his Old Spice products?
Yeah I love those commercials, but I don't want to smell like him. I was really hoping that some of the ladies on the forum might have suggestions for something that still smells good but is not $100. plus.
